Meghan and Harry Attend Fundraising Gala in British Columbia

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended a fundraising gala for the David Foster Foundation in Montecito, British Columbia, on August 7th. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sported matching monochromatic outfits – Meghan wore a black one-shoulder dress by Greta Constantine and diamond and sapphire earrings once belonging to Princess Diana.

Paying Homage to Diana

Meghan’s earrings, a diamond and sapphire pair, were previously worn by Princess Diana and are part of a collection she also owns, including butterfly earrings, a cuff bracelet, a diamond tennis bracelet, a Cartier Tank Louis, and Diana’s iconic aquamarine ring, famously known as her ‘divorce ring.’ The couple has previously worn pieces from Diana’s collection during significant moments, such as Meghan wearing a diamond cross necklace during a 2024 visit to Nigeria for the Invictus Games.

Recently, Meghan shared photos from their UK summer holiday on Instagram, featuring Harry, Archie, and Lilibet at Althorp estate. The couple has been promoting their documentary, ‘Cookie Queens,’ produced by Archewell Productions. They typically favor classic, understated styles – Harry in black suits and Meghan in tailored dresses or LBDs – often reverting to more relaxed attire like linens and stripes when in Montecito.
